About the event

Let us explain: the name is not a creation of artificial intelligence but a term already in use within the singing sailing community. It directly refers to the surname of the author of many sailing hits, Captain Andrzej Mendygrał. We owe him, among others, the Polish lyrics for "Spanish Ladies", "Greenland Whale Fisheries" or "Press Gang"... not to mention "Shenandoah"

Our Captain, affectionately known as "Mondruś," commanded the brigantine Henryk Rutkowski, the passenger sailing ship Peace, the Canadian Concordia, the research sailing ship PAN Oceania, and the brig Fryderyk Chopin. For years, he was associated with the Central Sailing Center in Trzebież as a training instructor. So where else but here, in Trzebież, should his songs be heard.

Our invitation has been accepted by the bands "Ryczące Dwudziestki" and "Cztery Refy." The choice of performers is not accidental; these bands have the most "Mendygrałki" in their repertoire, not to mention…
