Bornholm Island - June 2026

From June 4th to 7th, QAR visited the fabulous island of Bornholm, where we played at two fantastic events in the port of Nexø. The first was the Offshore Race Week Regatta with a concert for the sailors, and the second was for the island's locals at the hospitable Nexø Minigolf & Biergarten. For now, we're sharing photos from this second event.

During this visit, we were joined by guest performer Ola on mandolin, keyboards, and vocals - and we couldn't help but notice she completely won the audience's hearts. It was wonderful to play for the Danish audience and beyond, as everyone reacted so vibrantly to our music and stories. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the atmosphere you created. You could truly feel that sea shanties and maritime folk belong in a space like this, and the Svaneke beer 🍻 tasted better than ever. Thank you so much for all your kind words and praise, they truly mean the world to us. We hope to see you again soon, and a huge thank you to the regatta organizers for the invitation.
