Szantrapa Festival 23 - 24.11.2024

Ahoy dearest friends!

The excitement following the revival of the Szantrapa festival—brought back to life after nearly 13 years - is finally settling.

At long last, Szczecin has regained a cultural event that truly highlights its maritime spirit, and we hope this course will continue to steer ahead. It was an absolute joy to perform for you, and it’s clear that the audience here in Szczecin was yearning for something just like this.

We had the honour of sharing the stage with undisputed stars of the sea shanty genre, such as Perły i Łotry and Banana Boat. Joining us were Dair and Pierwsza Wachta, as well as many other talented performers who competed in Friday’s contest.

The late Grażyna Starosiek, the festival’s visionary founder, would surely be proud and overjoyed to see her dream resurrected in 2024.
